Serious Storage Anomaly: Lightning reported that nearly 20 GB of WAV recordings had been accumulating in the background and requested immediate implementation of automatic cleanup and storage location settings.

A voice input tool has been accumulating nearly 20 GB of raw WAV files over a long period of time without the user’s knowledge. This is not normal storage usage and cannot be classified simply as “user data.”

If the developers cannot provide reasonable data management features, I will have no choice but to consider switching to Whisper or another controllable local speech recognition solution.

Please do not simply reply with “You can manually delete the folder” or “This is normal caching.” What I need is:

1. A clear explanation of the purpose of these recordings;

2. An official method for securely deleting the data;

3. Whether future versions will include storage capacity management and storage location settings;

4. An estimated timeline for improvements.
